Implementation of the JobTrainer Fund is well underway, with free or low fee training places now available in SA, WA, NSW, Tasmania, the ACT, Victoria and Queensland. With the Northern Territory to follow shortly, there will be around 320,000 additional funded training places available across Australia.
Courses available through JobTrainer include a mix of accredited diplomas, certificates and short courses that have been endorsed by the National Skills Commission. The MySkills website will continue to be updated as more courses become available over the coming months.
The Commonwealth JobTrainer communications campaign has commenced in SA, WA, NSW and the ACT, with the remaining states and territories to go live early in 2021. Further information including the campaign clip can be viewed at the Your Career website. The campaign aims to inform Australians of the free or low fee courses available for young people, including school leavers, and job seekers.
